Beta now open — limited places

Your training log and your wearable data, finally in one place.

Apex Tracking is an iOS app for people who train seriously and want an honest record of it. Log your sessions, pull in what your watch already collects, and see how both move together over months rather than days.

Cancel any time. Beta pricing is locked in for as long as you stay subscribed.

Training data is everywhere except where you need it.

Your sets are in a notes app. Your heart rate is in your watch. Your body weight is in a third app that syncs with neither. None of it lines up, so none of it tells you anything.

A training log built for lifting

Sets, reps, load and RPE, entered fast between sets. Sessions build from your own exercise list, not a fixed catalogue that never has the movement you actually do.

Reads what your watch already has

Apex reads from Apple Health, so anything your Apple Watch, Garmin, Whoop or Oura writes there shows up alongside your training. Read-only — Apex never writes back or changes your health data.

Trends over months, not noise over days

Volume, top sets and body metrics plotted across whole training blocks. Long enough to see whether a block actually worked, instead of reacting to a single bad session.

Track the metrics you care about

Every athlete measures something slightly different. Define your own metrics and log them on your own schedule, rather than being handed someone else's dashboard.

Your data comes back out

Export everything you've logged whenever you want it. No lock-in, no holding your training history hostage behind a subscription you've cancelled.

Built to stay on your phone

Your training and health data lives on your device. Australian-owned and built, with no advertising business and nothing to gain from selling what you log.

What "beta" actually means here

Being straight with you, because a vague beta pitch helps nobody.

The app is still being built

You're subscribing to early access, not a finished product. Features will land progressively and some will change shape based on what beta users actually use.

You get a direct line

Beta is deliberately small. Feedback goes straight to the person building the app, and it shapes what gets built next.

Your price is locked

$10/month stays $10/month for as long as you remain subscribed, including after general release. Cancel and rejoin later and you'll pay whatever the rate is then.

Questions

What do I get for $10 a month right now?

TestFlight access to the current beta build and every build after it, plus a permanent lock on the $10 rate. The app is early — if that's not what you want, wait for general release and pay the standard price then.

Which devices does it work on?

iPhone running a current version of iOS. There's no Android or web version, and none is planned for the beta period.

Do I need an Apple Watch?

No. The training log works on its own. If you do wear something that writes to Apple Health — Apple Watch, Garmin, Whoop, Oura — Apex can read it and show it next to your sessions.

Is Apex a medical or health app?

No. Apex records and displays what you log and what your devices have already collected. It does not diagnose anything, make clinical assessments, or tell you whether you're fit to train. Those decisions stay with you and your coach or health professional.

What happens to my data?

Your training and health data stays on your device. The only thing stored on our servers is your account email and subscription status, so we know who has access. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe and never touch our systems.

How do I cancel?

Through the billing portal linked from your confirmation email, any time. Access continues to the end of the period you've paid for. No cancellation email or phone call required.

Who's behind this?

Apex Tracking is built in Australia by a solo developer who trains, got tired of stitching four apps together, and decided to build the one that should have existed.
